Engram is a high-yield investment product for the crypto world that lets anyone earn passive income from complex strategies by simply staking their USDT. Engram means tokenized hedge-fund-like returns for everyone.

By simplifying complex trading strategies that have historically only been available to banks and hedge funds, we help users grow their hard-earned money faster. Instead of earning mediocre APYs in their bank accounts or with staking products, Engram offers 30-50% yields. Users can rely on our trading strategies as a constant source of income for their financial goals without the volatility and market risk that directional trades typically have in the crypto market.

When large crypto traders enter the market, they usually borrow money to increase the size of their positions. This is known as trading with “leverage.” Funding rates are the borrowing rates these traders pay to increase their exposure. Every token at every exchange has a unique funding rate at any given time; Engram identifies differences in these funding rates across multiple exchanges for every token to and determines where it’s cheaper vs. more expensive to borrow. We then borrow at a lower price on one exchange and then lend that asset on an exchange with a higher funding rate. We do this tens of times per day, every day.

Engram is connected to select crypto exchanges and identifies which tokens on those exchanges present an opportunity for an arbitrage trade. We use the previous month’s data to identify which tokens’ funding rates are different between exchanges. We then analyze what the maximum position size for each arbitrage pair is (e.g., long perp-ETH in Binance and short perp-ETH in Coinbase). The arbitrage positions are delta-neutral by definition, which isolates Engram from market volatility. We use our own algorithms to stack rank each arbitrage opportunity based on projected returns and return stability to decide how we allocate our portfolio.
